Can you see the difference between blu-ray and dvd?

    You mean regular DVDs? Are you kidding? They look completely different. You just have to have the right TV.

    Even a dvd played on an upconverting player does not compare to the quality you get from blu-ray on a 1080p tv over hdmi.

    They are FAR from being the same. If you have a high def tv, then blu ray is a must, it changes your movie viewing experience, I highly recommend it.

    Yes, Some newer DVD does look good in most case, but Blu-ray still has edge since it has like 5 to 10 time mores bit rate both in sound and video. TV play much better factor, if you don’t had hdtv, blu-ray don’t do anything.
