Duplicated BD-R’s have somewhat limited compatibility with the current generation of Blu-ray players and contain no copy protection features.  As such, duplicated BD-R’s are most suitable for content distribution in a “controlled environment;” one in which the end user’s players/firmware are compatible with the media and the risk of illegal copying is not a concern.
